They are former child stars of the Kapamilya network, but they chose to pursue a career now that they are older in the number one TV network GMA-7.
Paolo Contis began his showbiz career in the Kapamilya network during the 90s. He was part of the youth-oriented variety show ‘Ang TV’ and starred in the comedy program ‘Oki Doki Doc’.
Now, Paolo has made a name for himself as one of the most versatile actors in the Kapuso Network. He is considered one of the best comedians in the country and a mainstay in the longest-running gag show ‘Bubble Gang’. Paolo is also happily in love with StarStruck finalist LJ Reyes.
Camille Prats was thrust into the spotlight when she headlined the hit ’90s movie ‘Sarah… Ang Munting Prinsesa’ and ‘Ang Pulubi at ang Prinsesa’. And like Paolo Contis, Camille was among the top child stars of ABS-CBN.
But in 2004, Camille made the big move to transfer to GMA-7. She now hosts the lifestyle show ‘Mars’ with Suzi Entrata-Abrera and is the lead star of the morning soap ‘Ang Forever Ko’y Ikaw,’ which also stars Neil Ryan Sese.
A young Kristoffer Martin competed in the singing competition “Little Big Star” hosted by Sarah Geronimo in 2007.
But Kristoffer found his big break showbiz at the Kapuso Network in 2010 when he was cast as the young Johnny in the Pinoy version of the hit koreanovela series ‘Endless Love’. What’s more, he was also part of another successful Kapuso show called ‘Tween Hearts,’ which launched the careers of Barbie Forteza, Derrick Monasterio, and Joyce Ching, to name a few. Kristoffer is also aggressively pursuing his singing career this 2018 when he released his single “Paulit-ulit” under GMA Records.
Max Collins, formerly known as Isabelle Abiera-Collins, was part of Star Magic Batch 15. She was 13 then.
Max was given a chance to prove her worth when she transferred to GMA-7 and starred in the afternoon drama ‘Innamorata,’ which was one of the top-rating Kapuso shows of 2014. She is also one the lead stars of the high-rating primetime series ‘The One That Got Away’ together with Lovi Poe and Rhian Ramos. Max married the man of her dreams, fellow Kapuso actor Pancho Magno last December 2017.
Kyline Alcantara bagged a huge role as Arlene in the 2013 remake of ‘Annaliza’.
