Primetime Queen’ Marian Rivera consistently making noise in various Asian countries.The 33-year old “Super Ma’am” actress is also continuously enjoys ‘Superstar’ status in Cambodia.
GMA Network’s very own ‘Primetime Queen’ Marian Rivera is now considered as one of Asia’s Primetime Queens. With her TV series invading various countries in Asia and some part of Africa, the 33-year old actress surely made a space in the hearts of different nationalities in Asia.
In a report by Rappler.com entitled, “7 PH soap operas that made waves in Southeast Asia,” three of the entries are Marian Rivera-starrer. GMA Network’s “Dyesebel,” “Amaya” and “MariMar” were all hit TV series in different Asian countries like Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand.
In 2018, some of the teleseryes of Marian will also be shown in Ukraine, Panama, Puerto Rico and Slovenia.
In 2013, Marian became a household name in Vietnam through her teleseryes that were shown in the country. She is one of the hottest foreign artists in Vietnam and even won Best Foreign Artist in the Face of the Year Awards for 2014 sponsored by Today TV-Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Marian took to Instagram to thank the online news site for including three of her teleseryes on their list.

Recently, Marian was personally invited by the Prime Ministers of Cambodia and Myanmar to attend the ASEAN dinner sponsored by former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen revealed that the Kapuso actress is famous in their country so he wanted to personally meet her. All her teleseryes shown in Cambodia became hit and were loved by Cambodians.
On the other hand, the 2014 Kapuso teleserye “Carmela: Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Mundong Ibabaw” is currently airing in Thailand together with the ground breaking 2013 teleserye “My Husband’s Lover.”
In Carmela, Marian was paired with ‘Pambansang Bae’ Alden Richards.
